aljuk is a personal photo site – part creative portfolio, part blog.

aljuk.photos is a personal photographic journal. It’s all about the images, which are presented in large format and with a minimum of visual distraction. The design itself is sparse and user friendly, with simple navigation, horizontal scrolling and plenty of white space.

The visual idea of the aljuk site was to make it feel calm and neutral – like an art gallery – white walls, proximity and spacing. The photos themselves are a compelling mixture of travel, portraiture and daily life.
